The first case of corona in the capital, Sanaa, of a Somali immigrant recorded: the Minister of Health
The first confirmed case of coronavirus epidemic in the capital Sana’a for a Somali immigrant , today, Tuesday, was announced by the Yemen’s Minister of Public Health, Dr. Taha al-Mutawakil.
“We received a report about a Somali immigrant in a hotel in Sana’a last Sunday, and the epidemiological investigation teams immediately moved to the hotel where the person was dead,” the Minister of Health said in a press conference held in Sana’a.
A sample of the Somali deceased was taken for laboratory testing and the result showed that he was infected with coronavirus, he explained.
“The Somali deceased receiving measures by the monitoring teams, while the health department taking measures for those who interacted with him,” he added.
