Zakat Authority launches a project to distribute cash gifts to 100 scientists in Hodeidah

On Tuesday, the General Authority of Zakat launched a project to distribute cash gifts to scholars in the various directorates of Hodeidah governorate.

The acting governor of the province, Mohammed Ayyash Quhaim, thanked the efforts of the Authority of Zakat and their interaction in supporting various segments of society and alleviating their suffering due to the war of aggression and the siege that caused a humanitarian catastrophe in the governorate.

In his turn, deputy director of the General Authority of Zakat in Hodeidah, Mohammed Yahya Al-Wasa’, stressed the importance of the project as a duty towards the scholarly class, which deserves attention and care, especially in light of the aggression and the blockade.

He also pointed out that the project implemented by the authority’s branch targets 100 scientists from the province.
