Security Council extends UN observer mission in Yemen for year
The UN Security Council approved on Tuesday unanimously to extend its ceasefire observation mission in Hodeidah province by six months, until January 15, 2020.
A media source said that the decision made at the first official meeting held by the personal presence of 15 countries since March 12, via TV circles to counter the spread of Covid-19.
The source added that the decision aimed to support the implementation of the UN-sponsored Stockholm agreement related to the city of Hodeidah.
