FM condemns aggression’s attacks on civilians’ homes in al-Jawf
Yemen Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the war crime committed by the aggression coalition warplanes on Wednesday which targeted residential houses in the village of Masafa, east of Hazm district in al-Jawf province, and resulted in the death and injuring of 31 civilian, including women and children, in a preliminary outcome.
The ministry said in a statement that the countries of the aggression coalition committed this crime after two days of Hajjah’s crime, which has not yet dried up.
The statement pointed out that since the beginning of the aggression, the countries of the aggression have killed about 16,700 civilians, including 3750 children, 2370 women, and have caused injuries to more than 26 thousand citizens since the beginning of the aggression, along with tens of thousands of citizens who have died due to the blockade, diseases and ill nutrition.
The statement touched that the Security Council is holding a meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss Saffer floating reservoir, while it did not hold any special session to discuss war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the countries of the aggression coalition since March 26, 2020.
The statement renewed the call by the international community, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, and humanitarian organizations to carry out their moral and humanitarian duty, to condemn this crime and other crimes, and to force the states of aggression to respect international humanitarian and international human rights law.
The Foreign Ministry called on countries that are still selling weapons to Saudi Arabia to immediately stop selling arms so that they are not a continuous partner in killing the Yemeni people.
The ministry renewed the call for the formation of an independent and impartial international committee to investigate all the crimes committed by the aggressive countries, end impunity and bring the perpetrators to justice.
