President Al-Mashat: Our Responsibility Build Independent Lifestyle, Provide Services to Nation

Quoted from al-Msirah website that the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, delivered an important speech earlier, in the capital, Sana’a, during his meeting with the mayor of the capital and the governors of the governorates, after a three days’ workshop. In the meeting, President, Al-Mashat, spoke with them, discussing workflow, service and development performance in the municipality and governorates. He focused on the efforts made to improve the level of performance and address difficulties.

He pointed to the importance of everyone assuming responsibility and improving performance in various aspects, to enhance steadfastness in the face of aggression and reduce the suffering of citizens due to the difficult conditions in the country.

Al-Mashat said: “On all levels, we need to build ourselves because we were born from the womb of suffering, the building is everyone’s responsibility.” He added that “we are in the process of building gradually. Some governorates have achieved good progress, but others have not, which requires doubling efforts.”

Al-Mashat pointed out that “disagreements between individuals constitutes a barrier to the plans drawn up, whether within the framework of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state, in the Economic Committee, or of any institution, The responsibility is great on all of us, The governor is considered the head of the state in his governorate.”

The President added that serving the people is our responsibility to provide what we can offer to the people, and there is no excuse. “We have a central and local responsibility to fulfill the sacrifices of our great people. We also have to build an independent life for this citizen enslaved and reckless for decades.”

He pointed out that the difficulties should not be an excuse for anyone, adding that: “Our problems, including those related to the situation and the difficulties of the stage, are common.” He continued saying that it is true that dealing with central and local problems are our responsibility, not a favor, and we have to overcome difficulties and do not let them defeat us.”

Also, he added, “It is true that there are strategic problems concerning budgets and will be resolved, but the rest is your responsibilities as officials in the provinces.” He went on to say, “We embarked on the path of reforming the economic situation and will not surrender.”
