A women’s cultural event in Al-Mahwit on the occasion of Ashura

The Women’s Authority in Al-Mahwit governorate on Wednesday organized a cultural event in for Ashura’s day, “The Anniversary of the Murder of Imam Hussein.”

The event dealt with the injustice of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and his indignity in fighting tyrants.

The event drew parallels between what Imam Hussein was subjected to and what the Yemeni people are exposed to in terms of aggression and its brutal crimes.

The participants in the event called to emulate the biography of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, to continue his approach in word and deed, to continue steadfastness in the face of aggression and to continue supplying the fronts with money, men, and equipment until victory achieved.
