A protest event in Geneva in solidarity with Yemeni people

Some activists and members of the Yemeni community in Switzerland organized a protest event, during which they declared their solidarity over the brutal aggression that Yemen facing.

During the event that was held in front of the United Nations headquarters in Geneva on the sidelines of the work of the 45th session of the Human Rights Council, which began last week and continues until the sixth of next October, the participants raised banners displaying some of the war crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.

Brief speeches were given calling for an end to the aggression, the immediate lifting of the siege, an end to these crimes, and the punishment of those responsible.

This event comes despite the Corona pandemic, which is witnessing a new wave these days in Europe.
