The southern governorates between the jaws of aggression greed and authoritarian corruption
The countries of the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression continue to impose their presence and occupation of the southern and eastern governorates of Yemen. They do so through the agreements they made with their tools there to ensure their survival and control on the scene. The so-called “Riyadh Agreement” is only one of the agreements that gave Saudi Arabia the right to order and prohibit.
A recent report warned of the danger of the chapters of this farce in which international parties participated, considering it a step that goes away from the steps of security and peace that the United Nations and other international parties claim they seek in Yemen.
According to the report issued by the Media Center for the Southern governorates and which was published by the Yemeni News Agency Saba, the aggression coalition countries used the agreement as a pretext for military intervention and plundering the oil and gas wealth in there and as a cover to implement a dangerous colonial agenda.
The report pointed to the approval of the aggression tools, whether loyal to Riyadh or Abu Dhabi, with the impetus of some international and Arab parties to participate in the aggression to implement this agreement, including Saudi Arabia, which had previously failed to achieve its ambitions and implement its agenda in the south since independence in November 1967.
Military occupation
The aggression countries used the agreement as a tool for military intervention in Aden city of, whereas Riyadh transferred thousands of Saudi soldiers to it, established militias loyal to it in of Aden and Abyan governorates, and worked to control Mahra governorate, according to the report.
It pointed out that the Saudi enemy transported more than 25 modern arms shipments by air and land, in addition to transporting four arms shipments by sea to the port of Aden within a year of signing it.
It stressed that the Saudi occupation forces in Al-Mahra have created more than 20 military sites and established camps in several coastal areas with the aim of doubling the activities of the land shipping port linking Yemen and Amman.
The report mentioned that Balhaf port, which is under the control of the Emirati forces, has been converted into a military barracks and a secret prison for the Free people of the South, in addition to disrupting Burum port, which is also under their control .It explained that the Saudi and Emirati forces have turned Dhabba oil port in Mukalla into a military barracks and a secret prison..
The report pointed out that the Saudi forces expelled the ranaway Hadi forces from Nishtun port, which is located on the shores of Mahra, and expelled the so-called government forces.
Escalation of human rights crimes
The report reviewed the psychological and physical torture that hundreds of people from the southern governorates have been subjected to. They were detained and forcibly disappeared in 11 secret prisons in Bir Ahmed and other areas in Aden, which are run by pro-Emirati individuals under the supervision of Saudi forces.
It pointed out that the Emirati forces had been involved in the sexual assault of detainees in secret prisons there. The report of the United Nations experts confirmed that 37 cases of sexual violence committed by individuals of the Emirati forces and militias loyal to them had been documented.
Abandoning sovereignty and plundering wealth
The report confirmed that the coalition of aggression countries pursued a destructive series of infrastructure there. Saudi and UAE interests converged with the in disrupting strategic ports on the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden, in addition to controlling oil and gas fields.
It pointed out that the Saudi enemy has turned the southern ports into places for transporting drugs and weeds that are shipped from Jeddah port and deliver them to the occupied Yemeni ports,specifically Aden port with the aim of undermining the reputation of those ports and weakening their role in favor of the UAE ports.
Al Qaeda and Daesh the most prominent beneficiaries
The report confirmed that the aggression coalition provided the complete cover for the withdrawal of #al-Qaeda and #Daesh individuals from their strongholds after their fall in Yakla and Qaifa in al-Bayda It indicated that the takfiri individuals are still present to this day under the cover of the aggression coalition in Karan Valley in Al-Hudhan region, 20 km east of the city of Lawdar, Abyan. It explained that the leadership of the sggression coalition in Aden provided Al-Qaeda with a shipment of weapons consisting of light and medium weapons that were delivered through the leader of the organization ,who is internationally wanted in the terrorist list, Saad bin Attaf Al-Awlaki.
Two sides of one aggression
In this regard, the report considered that the movements of Saudi Arabia and the UAE during the past period are proceeding according to a destructive scheme in the southern and eastern governorates. They did not exclude the oil wealth, but rather the fish wealth, which has become subjected to a catastrophic dredging process, which caused the price of fish in southern cities to rise to the highest levels.
It revealed an exchange of roles between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi in the southern governorates with the aim of preparing conditions for the arrival of American forces to the south of the country.They contributed to strengthen the American presence at Al-Rayyan Airport in Mukalla and on the beaches of Shabwa and the Yemeni border between Hadramout and Sharurah.
The report warned of the growing danger in light of the Emirati normalization with the Zionist entity, especially after the last measure taken by the Emirati occupier in cooperation with the Zionist entity to plan to establish a military base on Socotra Island and set up watchtowers for the maritime navigation movement in the Indian Gulf.It noted to the British move to make the agreement successful during the past period, whereas it seeks to benefit from it.
