Deputy Minister of Education : The aggression targets education long time ago

Mr. Hamdan Al-Shami, Deputy Minister of Education, confirmed that the aggression targeted education from long time ago in terms of infrastructure and teachers ’salaries after the central bank was moved to Aden.

Mr. Hamdan told there are 12,000 teachers who have discontinued their duties and we are working to complete the inventory to pay attention to the obligated ones.

He pointed out that one of the main factors in the success of the educational process is the teacher, stressing that the Supreme Political Council and the government are concerned with looking at the teachers ’bid.

The Deputy Minister of Education stated that the ministry is unable to provide 7 billion riyals, which is the amount we need in this period to pay the teachers.
