Fisheries Authority condemns kidnapping of three fishermen
The General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea condemned on Sunday the kidnapping of Yemeni three fishermen by the Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province while they were working at the sea, according to YPA.
The authority denounced in a statement The commission condemned the coalition forces’ ongoing piracy and attack against the thousands of fishermen and theirs boats.
The statement considered the coalition forces’ insistence in its criminal acts to terror fishermen and prevent them from practicing their work, using all methods of torture, starvation and siege, is a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.
It held the coalition countries with the full consequences of these violations against fishermen, and the deprivation they cause of tens of thousands of their only source of income and the consequent humanitarian catastrophe.
The statement also condemned the shameful silence by the UN and its organizations towards the criminal acts and the genocide committed by the coalition’s countries against the Yemeni people.
The statement called on the international community, the Security Council and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to stop the piracy practiced by the coalition forces in the Red Sea against the Yemeni fishermen.
