Fifty civil statements condemning the American classification of Ansarullah
Fifty civil society organizations, human rights, and relief organizations, a union, a Yemeni center, and an initiative condemned the US administration’s decision to designate Ansarullah as a terrorist organization.
Each statement emphasized that the decision would have catastrophic repercussions on the humanitarian situation in Yemen, peace efforts, and the humanitarian response, as well as held the United States fully responsible for the repercussions resulting from the decision.
Each statement referred to the terrorist practices of the American administration against the Yemeni people since six years ago through aggression and blockade that contradicts all international values, ethics, and legislation.
Initiatives, associations, institutions, and organizations made it clear that the US administration’s intention to classify Ansarullah in the so-called terrorism list is nothing but a matter of obtaining political and economic gains from Riyadh, which is preparing for the recent arrangements to announce normalization with the Zionist enemy,
In all the separate statements, they all called on the United Nations, the Security Council, and all human rights and humanitarian organizations to take a responsible position, rejecting this reckless and irresponsible decision.
