Al-Houthi calls on UN to take firm stances towards the violations of aggression in Hodeidah

Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC) Mohammed al-Houthi, met on Wednesday Head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement and Chairman of the Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC), Lieutenant-General Abhijit Guha.

In the meeting, al-Houthi called on the United Nations mission to take more firm positions towards the daily violations committed by the forces of aggression and mercenaries in Hodeida.

He confirmed that the Other Party is delaying the implementation of its obligations in the redeployment and continues to detain ships of oil derivatives and close the port of Hodeida within the framework of the policy of starving the Yemeni people.

On his part, Guha touched on the difficulties on the ground and highly praised the support the UN mission receives from the political leadership in Sana’a to halt the ceasefire.
