Hospitals and medical bodies condemn the piracy on derivative ships and warn of a humanitarian disaster

Many central and rural bodies and hospitals have condemned the maritime piracy by the aggression countries and the continued detention of oil derivative ships and preventing their entry to Hodeidah port, which heralds with a new health catastrophe.

They indicated in their statements that most departments will stop due to the depletion of petroleum products, which puts the lives of patients, especially children and women, at risk of death.

They explained that the health facilities ,in light of this situation, have become unable to provide their services and operate most of the medical devices, resuscitation and emergency equipment, and cooling operations for solutions, medicines and other things, which threatens with a humanitarian catastrophe added to the crimes of aggression in Yemen.

The statements called on the international community, the United Nations, and humanitarian and human rights organizations to work to lift the blockade ,stop the aggression and to allow the entry of oil derivatives and humanitarian and medicinal aid.

They also denounced the deliberate excessive negativity of the United Nations and its organizations and its silence towards this crime by the aggression countries against the Yemeni people.
