The sewage treatment plant in Sana’a has warned of a potential health and environmental disaster due to the risk of shutting down plant due to the lack of fuel.

The station confirmed in a statement that it is threatened with stopping, indicating that it will make it a focus for the spread of epidemics and diseases, especially as it is treating 50 thousand cubic meters per day.

The station works on safe disposal of waste (household drainage), and creats an environment free from diseases and epidemics, as well as obtaining treated water suitable for use in irrigation of agricultural crops.
