Aden governor warns of mobilizing takfiri groups to Marib

Aden Governor Tariq Salam has warned of the danger of mobilizing militants of extremist groups from the occupied southern governorates to Marib as part of the Islah party’s attempts to salvage what remains of its interests in Marib.

Salam said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), “The Islah Party, which is breathing its last breath today in Marib, brings in militants of takfirist groups from several regions, most of them from the southern governorates, which found an outlet for them to stay under the Saudi-Emirati occupation.”

He stressed the need to confront these groups that are trying to return and settle in Marib , spreading murder and crime projects before its liberation.

He added, “What the occupied governorates live today as a result of the continued occupation and the influx of takfiri groups, must be taken into consideration by every Yemeni, whether in Marib or in the southern governorates in order not to expose their families and their private and public interests to danger.”
