The Yemeni Red Crescent distributes food and shelter aid to 125 displaced families from Marib to Sana’a
Quting from Saba, The branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society (YRCS) in Sana’a province has inaugurated the distribution of food, shelter, and health supplies for Internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Marib province.
The aid, which came as part of the Humanitarian Response Project for the IDPs in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, targeted 125 displaced families of Marib province.
At the inauguration, the emergency response coordinator at the main center of the Yemeni Red Crescent, Abdullah al-Azab, stressed keenness to provide basic services to the displaced and the most vulnerable class, especially in light of the current conditions the country is going through.
For his part, the director of the Red Crescent branch in Sana’a, Hussein al-Taweel, explained the aid includes shelter materials such as mattresses, blankets, cooking tools, a food basket, and a sanitary bag of household cleaning tools.
