Sa’ada governorate inaugurates the distribution of 101,000 food baskets for displaced, poorest families
On Monday, the Saada governorate inaugurated the distribution of 101,000 food baskets for the displaced and poorest families through the (April school feeding project), in partnership with the World Food Program.
At the inauguration, the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of the School Feeding and Humanitarian Relief Project in Saada, Yahya Solh, indicated that the project targets displaced and poorer families in 12 districts that include 342 distribution centers.
He pointed out the keenness to deliver aid to needy beneficiaries in full transparency, appreciating the Ministry of Education’s leadership interest in the project and their continuous follow-up of the distribution process in various governorates.
He praised the role of the local authority for its cooperation in the distribution process in the various centers, noting the role of the food program and its keenness to follow up and supervise the implementation.
