The Coordination Unit of the Oversight Bodies discusses anti-corruption efforts

The Coordination Unit of the Regulatory Bodies, in its meeting today, Wednesday, headed by the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Ahmed Mohamed Hamed, discussed a number of issues related to the unit’s workflow and the coordination efforts between the supervisory agencies.

The meeting, which included officials , reviewed the work carried out by the unit since its formation and the files that the oversight bodies are working on during the current stage in accordance with the coordination mechanism.

The meeting touched on the difficulties facing the work of the Coordination Unit and ways to overcome them so that it can carry out its tasks in protecting public money, combating corruption in all its forms, and developing treatments to prevent it, as well as strengthening accountability and accountability procedures. It stressed the importance of implementing the networking project for state institutions, which will facilitate the oversight process.

During the meeting, the Director of the Presidential Office confirmed the determination of the Supreme Political Council headed by His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat to combat corruption and hold the corrupt accountable wherever they are.
