During his visit to the Ministry of Industry, Yemeni President stresses the importance of strengthening the supervisory role to protect consumers ,enhance national production

Today, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat – Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where he was received by the Acting Chairman of the Supreme Economic Committee – Governor of the Central Bank, Hashem Ismail, Minister of Industry and Trade Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, and his deputy, Muhammad Al-Hashemi.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat directed the formation of a committee to determine the costs of goods and services, and to follow up on price control in a way that leads to the provision of goods and services to citizens at the appropriate prices.

He also directed the governorates’ governors to cooperate with the offices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in controlling prices, stressing the importance of concerted efforts on the economic front for the service of the great and patient Yemeni people.

President Al-Mashat called on everyone to support the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in implementing its various plans and programs, stressing that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is service-oriented, and therefore it is concerned with serving all the Yemeni people from Mahra to Saada.
