President Al-Mashat Participates in the Commemoration of the Anniversary of the Great Hall Massacre

Today, Saturday, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, participated in the commemoration event of the fifth anniversary of the massacre of the US-Saudi aggression coalition in the Great Hall.

In the event held by the Capital Secretariat, in the presence of a number of Yemeni officials, the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, delivered a speech in which he saluted the participation of President al-Mashat and all those present in commemorating this massacre, which represented a great tragedy. The aggression claimed the lives of more than a thousand people from all governorates of the Republic.

He said: “We salute this annual event to remember the great heroes who served the country, and had an honorable presence in various situations, and we say to his Excellency President Al-Mashat, your presence has great meaning and significance.

He added, “Not everyone expected our enemies to reach this level of moral decadence by targeting a council in which Al-Ruwaishan family would receive their condolences.”

The Prime Minister pointed out that when the Yemeni people commemorate the Great Hall massacre, they remember with a high responsibility that every drop of blood spilled in the homeland, and in order to defend it, is a major responsibility of every official and employee in the state.
