US-British Concern Rising over the Battle to Liberate Ma’rib
Quting from almasirah, Britain and United States expressed, Tuesday, their concern over the developments in the city of Marib, the last stronghold of the Saudi-led aggression.
The US Ambassador to the pro-Saudi government, Kathy Weasley, called on what she described as the “Houthis” to cease fire and enter into peace negotiations. The British ambassador, Richard Oppenheim, also expressed his country’s concern about the developments in the city.
Britain and the United States have been the most prominent pillars of the Saudi-led war for seven years, and are currently trying to put pressure on their agenda after failing militarily to achieve this.
The new move, which the diplomats tried to encapsulate with humanity, came with the continued advance of Sana’a forces on the city’s fronts, which reflects the extent of the fears of defeat there.
