Protests in Yafa’a ,Lahj to Denounce the Deteriorating Economic Conditions

Dozens of Yafa’s sons in Lahj governorate – Sunday – went out in angry protests to condemn the deterioration of the local currency , the living situation and the high prices of oil derivatives as a result of the irresponsible economic policies that the mercenary government has recently taken.

The protesters burned tires, set fire to the streets and blocked roads, chanting slogans against the local authority and the mercenary government, which they accused of failing and of being behind the accelerating collapse in the local currency prices.

The protesting citizens expressed their dissatisfaction towards the oil company in the mercenary government that imposed a new price dose on the prices of oil derivatives.They noted that the dose was reflected in foodstuffs whose prices are witnessing insane increases, exceeding the citizens’ purchasing power in light of the continuous interruption of salaries and the suspension of many activities and businesses.
