The Media Union Condemns Bombing the Old Radio Station ,the Vicinity of the TV Building

Quting from almasirah, the Yemeni Media Union condemned Monday the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression’s targeting of the old radio station and the vicinity of the TV building in the capital, Sana’a.

In a statement, the Executive Office of the Union stated that the aggression targeted the “Shu`ab Radio Broadcasting Station” in the Hasaba area, in the middle of residential neighborhoods, with 4 air raids, and the vicinity of the TV building with 3 raids.

The statement stressed that this targeting, which violates all international laws and covenants, concerned with the protection of civilians and civilian objects, comes within the framework of silencing the national and free media platforms against the forces of global arrogance and the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression.

The Union urged all free media professionals to intensify efforts and expose the violations and crimes that the US-Saudi aggression continues to commit in light of the continued UN and international silence.

It also called on all international and local organizations concerned with freedom of opinion and expression to stand with Yemeni media professionals and solidarity with them against violations against the media sector.
