Army air defenses shoot down US-made “ScanEagle” drone over Hajjah province
The Yemeni air defenses have shot down a spy drone belonging to the US-Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northwestern Yemen, the army spokesman said in a statement.
The Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, affirmed the air defenses were be able to down a US-made “ScanEagle” spy drone, operating by the Saudi Air Forces, while it was carrying out hostile actions over the airspace of Hardh district, on Tuesday morning .
On February 28, the Yemeni Air Defenses shot down a US-built Boeing Insitu ScanEagle spy drone over the same Governorate.
