The Foreign Ministry welcomes Australia’s decision to cancel its recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Australia’s decision to cancel its recognition of West Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity.

In a statement today, the ministry affirmed that this step is consistent with the inalienable Palestinian right, calling on the countries that have recognized West Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity, to follow Australia’s lead.

The statement reiterated that the Republic of Yemen, government and people, stand by the brotherly Palestinian people in their just and legitimate struggles until the liberation of Palestine and the end of occupation, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on all of Palestine, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
