Industry and Trade Office in Hodeida seizes 30 tons of products unfit for human consume

The Industry and Trade Office in Hodeida province seized 30 tons of expired products unfit for human use from a merchant’s warehouse.

Director of the Industry Office in Hodeida Mohammed Abdul Wahed said the field inspection visits seized during the past week 30,220 boxes of al-Mashaher juices, oatmeal and Vimto packets, al-Mashaher custard powder from the markets and stores in Hodeida city and the province’s districts.

Abdulwahid added field committees were assigned to go to all shops, markets and warehouses in the city of Hodeida and the districts to seize and withdraw the stored quantities belonging to the laboratories of the merchant accused of the issue of re-manufacturing expired foodstuffs.
