Central Military District Court upholds execution of 18 traitors convicted of killing and torturing 26 prisoners

Today, Sunday, the Central Military District Court in Sana’a convicted 18 traitors convicted of killing and torturing 26 prisoners of the army and the popular committees, in criminal case No. 21 of 1443 AH.
The verdict stipulated that the 18 defendants be convicted of the facts attributed to them in the indictment, and that they were all punished with the death penalty and retribution, and the two complementary penalties represented in expulsion from service in the armed forces and the confiscation of all their movable and immovable property in any hand, inside or outside the country and under any name, for the benefit of the armed forces.
It also decreed obligating all the convicts to pay a total of 330 million riyals to the families of the victims, to be divided equally among them, as well as paying five million riyals in wages and litigation losses.
