US envoy obstructs the demands of the Yemeni people

The United States is obstructing the demands of the Yemeni people, represented by paying employees’ salaries from oil and gas revenues and lifting the blockade on airports and ports. Instead, they insist on continuing to plunder Yemen’s wealth and using the Yemenis’ entitlements as pressure cards and blackmail.

This week, the US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, confirmed his country’s insistence on continuing to plunder resources, calling on Sana’a to stop operations to protect national wealth, according to statements published by the US State Department.

A member of the national delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, confirmed a few days ago that “the American envoy and the ambassadors of Britain and France cannot block the sun with a sieve. Whoever deprives Yemenis of their resources and economic rights is a part of the brutal blockade.”

“The responsibility of the Yemeni army is to prevent thieves inside and outside the country from tampering with the people’s wealth,” he pointed out.

The international administration of the aggression, led by the United States of America and Britain, is seeking to put pressure on Sana’a and push it to abandon the equation of protecting wealth and demands for the payment of salaries and lifting the blockade, and to accept the extension of the armistice in accordance with the previous conditions allows a state of no war and no peace, and give the aggression an opportunity to continue its hostilities and escape from the consequences.

A member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, recently confirmed that the attempt of the aggression coalition and its sponsors to stall and gain time will not protect them from the repercussions of the continued aggression and siege, which are the consequences that the revolutionary and political leadership had warned of, adding that they would have regional and international risks.
