The Association of Yemeni Scholars organizes a rhetorical event on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Fatima al-Zahra

The Association of Yemeni Scholars organized today, Saturday, at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a, a rhetorical event entitled “Women between Divine Honor and Western Corruption”, on the occasion of International Muslim Women’s Day – the birth anniversary of Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

At the event, the

Mufti of Yemen – President of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, the scholar Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, explained that the commemoration of this memory did not come out of luxury or the revival of sectarianism  as some like to portray it, but rather to confront the Western onslaught of Islam, Muslims and Muslim women.

And he said, “Al-Zahraa, peace be upon her, deserved the elevated status and position because she was cut off from the worship of God Almighty until she was called the Virgin, because of the sublime morals of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
