Foreign Ministry condemns Zionist attack on Damascus

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Zionist enemy’s attack on a number of residential neighborhoods in the city of Damascus, killing 5 people and injuring 15 others.

The Ministry confirmed that the Zionist aggression against Damascus is a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and an evidence that the Zionist enemy is the eternal enemy of the Arab and Islamic nations, and above that an enemy of all humanitarian values who does not care about the ethics of wars.

It called on the international community to play its role in condemning the blatant Zionist aggression, which is inconsistent with the Charter of the United Nations and all the international norms and conventions.

The Ministry expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the government and people of the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, affirming Damascus’s right to take whatever it deems appropriate to defend itself and protect its lands.
