Lebanon.. Mass rallies in commemoration of Ashura

Hezbollah revived the ceremonies of the tenth day of Muharram in the city of Tyre, with a mass march that started from Antiquities Stadium opposite Imam Hussein complex in the city, after Sheikh Khair al-Din Sharif finished reciting the death of Husseini.

The march was led by scout teams of Imam Al-Mahdi scouts and the bearers of banners, images and figures, and processions of slapping in which thousands participated, and throats resounded with Husayni slappings, Zainabiyah slogans and chants of resistance.

The march made its way across the sea line, to conclude in front of the institutions of Imam al-Sadr, with the participation of the Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, Mr. Hashem Safi al-Din, and the two members of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MPs Hassan Izz al-Din and Hussein Jishi, the official in charge of the first Jabal Amel region, Abdullah Nasser, and party leaders and representatives of the parties and the Lebanese and Palestinian national forces, in addition to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, as well as a number of religious scholars from various religious sects, events and personalities, and crowds of participants who flocked to the city from the various surrounding villages and towns.
