America Continues its Provocative Moves in Yemen
America continues its devilish provocative moves in the occupied southern provinces, and attempts to violate Yemeni sovereignty under false pretexts and slogans and exposed lies; to implement malicious goals, suspicious agendas, criminal plans, and colonial projects to establish presence and dominance in the occupied provinces; which confirms Washington’s progress in implementing its colonial plan to control Yemen’s regional waters and occupy the eastern provinces and plunder oil and gas wealth.
Journalistic sources confirmed that America pushed, on Tuesday, new military reinforcements to Hadramout province. Southern activists posted on social media pictures of soldiers from the American Marines, during their deployment in the Al-Gharfa area in Wadi Hadramout, which is located 9 km from the city of Seiyun.
These moves come a week after the arrival of American forces to Ma’asheq Palace in occupied Aden, which coincided with the deployment of a company of British special forces in Al-Shin farms in Ghail Bawazir district in occupied Hadramout, amid arrangements for establishing a military base.
The American-British military deployment in the eastern regions of Yemen comes amid the militarization of foreign forces on the southwestern coasts, as part of wide-ranging moves for a new escalation, with the aim of obstructing the ongoing negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh.
A recent report by the American newspaper “The Cradle” stated that since the beginning of the war led by Saudi Arabia against Yemen, the United States, Britain, and Israel have provided significant logistical support to the Saudi-led aggressive coalition. In addition to this support, American and French military forces are also present in Yemen alongside British forces. Furthermore, British forces have been involved in training some of the Saudi coalition forces.
The American newspaper added that “last year, the French Foreign Legion arrived in Yemen, under the pretext of securing an oil facility in occupied Shabwa province, owned by French energy company Total Energy – which is likely aimed at controlling Yemen’s gas resources; which prompted Sana’a to threaten to target all foreign forces involved in plundering wealth and natural resources of the country.”
The Cradle indicated that “British special forces were recently deployed in Hadramout oil province; as those arrangements began yesterday by expanding their military presence in eastern Yemen,” noting that “Yemeni media revealed on August 21 that Britain is planning to expand its military presence in Yemen; with the aim of reaching more energy-rich or oil-rich areas.”
