Yemen Warns of Appropriate Response to Aggression
The National Salvation Government of Yemen has issued a stern warning to the countries involved in the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression. The government has indicated that it is currently studying an appropriate response to confront the policies of these countries. This comes as a clear warning that all options will be open during the coming period, signaling a potential end to the current situation.
The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, in an interview with “Al-Masirah”, stated that these countries are exerting popular pressure on Sana’a, particularly in the salary file. This statement is a clear indication of the non-response of these countries to the efforts made by mediators to address the humanitarian file and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Dr. Habtoor further explained that despite the sincerity of Omani mediation with all parties, its influence is limited. The countries of aggression are primarily concerned with taking initiative and exiting from the war. He also confirmed that these countries are facing a “last chance” in reference to the ongoing negotiating round, which it seems they do not want to succeed.
Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the national delegation, had previously confirmed that Sana’a will work on resolving the negotiation process in relation to the humanitarian file; which means closing the door in front of any attempts by the enemy to gain time and prolonging the suffering of the Yemeni people.
In light of these developments, Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf confirmed that Sana’a has what makes enemies regret their aggressive policies. He emphasized readiness and preparedness “to defend the homeland and its capabilities against anyone who dares to continue aggression, looting, and siege of this patient and steadfast people”.
The Prime Minister also addressed misleading campaigns launched by enemy media regarding salaries. He clarified that oil and gas revenues constituted 75% of previous governments’ budgets, taxes and customs 15%, and what remains came through grants, loans, and so on. However, all revenue sources are now in the hands of occupiers.
Despite this challenging situation, the Salvation Government continues to bear 49 fronts that need all aspects of expenditure from weapons, ammunition, and so on. The war is still ongoing. The government is committed to doing everything possible to protect its people and ensure their well-being.
The Prime Minister also revealed that Sana’a is “studying the appropriate response” to confront the stubbornness of these countries; this declaration carries a clear warning message confirming that Sana’a is proceeding in preparing to impose equations that force the enemy to change its position.
Moreover, he added that “the focus now is on celebrating the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi, but after that, things will be open to return to square one”. This statement clearly indicates that the phase of “de-escalation” is nearing its end, and that the remaining time no longer allows for any procrastination or new tricks from these countries.
The leader of the revolution had directed last month a series of strong messages to countries of aggression and particularly to Saudi regime, confirming impossibility of accepting current situation, warning that continuation of implementing American and British conspiracies in Yemen, and continuing starvation and siege of Yemeni people, will have serious repercussions on security of countries of aggression and their economic and investment ambitions including Saudi “Neom” project.
The announcement about studying an “appropriate response” – due to insistence of countries of aggression on stubbornness and evasion – has become a fixed and clear position, and probabilities of changing this position have become almost non-existent, especially after more than a year and a half has passed on de-escalation.
