Popular Marches in Yemen’s Governorates Support of Palestinian Resistance

In the capital, Sana’a, and several governorates, large public marches and protests took place to express solidarity with the Palestinian resistance and to condemn the tragic events occurring in the Gaza Strip by Israel and the United States.

In Sana’a, participants in the march prominently displayed both Yemeni and Palestinian flags along with banners condemning the Zionists assaults on women, children, the elderly, and the ill in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories.

A statement released by the march reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Yemeni people for the Al-Aqsa Storm and the valiant efforts of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza as they confront the Zionist enemy.

The statement strongly condemned the actions of the Zionist-American aggression, which have led to the suffering of thousands of civilians, including women and children, and the blockage of essential food and medicine from reaching the besieged Gaza Strip.

In Raymah Governorate, another statement from a march emphasized the Palestinians’ right to defend themselves and their just cause in response to the massacres perpetrated by the Zionist entity. It called for an end to the comprehensive siege imposed on Gaza and the free flow of humanitarian aid.

The statements held the international community and the United Nations responsible for the crimes, violations, and attacks carried out by the Zionist enemy. These actions were deemed as blatant violations of international and humanitarian norms, treaties, and laws.

The statements issued a call to action for Arab and Islamic nations and people worldwide to champion the principles of freedom and dignity against the actions of the United States and Israel. They urged boycotts of their products and expressed support for the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Tourism organized a protest to condemn the actions of the Zionist enemy and to stand in solidarity with the resilience of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance.

Participants in the march voiced strong condemnation for what they saw as international and UN positions that appeared to be complicit with the Zionist adversary amidst the ongoing horrific events and genocidal warfare in the Gaza Strip. These atrocities have led to the loss of innocent lives, including children, women, and civilians.

The participants called for a resolute stance to put an end to the ongoing series of crimes committed by the occupying entity, with the backing of American and European support. They particularly emphasized the recent tragedy at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.
