International Navigation Safe in Red Sea and Arabian Sea, Asserts Yemeni Negotiator
The head of the national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, has confirmed that international navigation in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Bab al-Mandab is safe.
In a post on the platform “X” today, Abdulsalam pointed out that all global ships cross peacefully, with the exception of Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine. He added that Yemen has a legitimate right to respond to American-British aggression.
Abdulsalam suggested that some European countries should have exerted pressure on the Israeli entity to stop its aggression on Gaza, rather than being drawn behind the black American propaganda. He affirmed that there is no danger to international or European navigation as long as there are no aggressive operations from them.
Mohammed Abdulsalam further emphasized that what the world is eagerly waiting for is not the militarization of the Red Sea, but an urgent and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons. He indicated that the Israeli entity would not have continued its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza without support from the Americans, the British, and some Europeans.
This statement comes amid escalating tensions in the region, and Abdulsalam’s comments serve as a reassurance to the international community about the safety of maritime navigation in these strategic waterways.
