Yemen targets American oil vessel and a number of warships
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Saturday evening that they had targeted the American ship “TORM THOR” with several missiles in the Gulf of Aden, in addition to targeting several American warships with drones. This operation was carried out in response to the calls of the great Yemeni people to stand up for the Palestinian people’s cause and as a retaliation against the American-British aggression on Yemeni ground.
In a recent statement, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed the targeting of the American oil vessel ‘TORM THOR’ in the Gulf of Aden using a series of precision naval missiles. The statement further highlighted that the Yemeni Armed Forces extended their strategic reach, launching drone attacks on American warships stationed in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that they will confront the American-British escalation with more qualitative military operations against all hostile targets in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in defense of Yemen, its people, and the Islamic nation.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to continue carrying out their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties towards the Palestinian people, stating that their military operations will not stop unless the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Thursday, February 22, 2024, that the Armed Forces had carried out three qualitative military operations. The first operation launched a number of ballistic missiles and drones at various Zionist enemy targets in the Umm Rashrash region in southern occupied Palestine.
The second operation took place in the Gulf of Aden, where the naval forces in the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out an operation targeting a British ship (ISLANDER) in the Gulf of Aden with several suitable naval missiles, hitting it directly and causing a fire in the ship.
The third operation involved targeting an American destroyer in the Red Sea with a number of drones. The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to assert their commitment to defending their country and people.
