US Navy Commander Admits Failure in Protecting Zionist Navigation Amid Growing Yemeni Operations

The United States has once again admitted its failure to protect Zionist navigation against Yemeni operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf supporting Palestine.

Charles Brad Cooper, commander of the US Fifth Fleet, informed Al-Monitor that the US-British airstrikes have not succeeded in deterring the Yemeni Armed Forces.

He confirmed his country’s inability to halt Yemeni operations, expressing hope that diplomacy and international pressure would persuade Sana’a to cease them.

Cooper remarked, “The US cannot tackle this military challenge in the Red Sea alone,” voicing concerns over Yemen’s increasing capabilities in the air, on land, and at sea, which could endanger their ships in the Red Sea.

Since the commencement of the Israeli regime’s relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation.

The Armed Forces have conducted recent attacks on ships with ties to Israel near Yemeni ports, including the interception and seizure of a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime on November 19.

These attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
