Yemen’s Revolution Leader Reaffirms Support for Palestine
The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, has reiterated his commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian people at all levels, including military and popular fronts. He warned of the dangers of negligence in carrying responsibilities and the risk of silence in the face of conspiracies targeting enemies.
In his speech delivered on Sunday in a broad meeting attended by scholars and state leaders, welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi confirmed that “Yemeni operations will continue alongside all activities carried out by the Yemeni people in support of Palestine.”
He stated, “If certain developments occur during the month of Ramadan, we will keep up with them, Allah willing, with what we feel and hope for Allah’s success in what we have to do.” Adding, “Our operations will continue, Allah willing, and most of our activities will continue, and there are basic and necessary activities that should continue.”
The revolution leader pointed out that “our people today, by the grace of Allah, are at the forefront of Islamic nations in terms of freedom, dignity, honor, and strength.” He emphasized that it is “a blessing and favor for our people to be Mujahideen, carrying the concerns of his nation, and feeling the suffering of his nation and the terrible oppression of the Palestinian people.”
Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi warned of the dangers of silence and stagnation towards what is happening in Palestine, indicating that “if the situation reaches that the Islamic world and the peoples are silent and no longer have a voice or movement, this is a dangerous situation with consequences and penalties.” He confirmed that “the Islamic nation will be punished for its negligence and its great shortcomings towards what is happening in Gaza.”
He continued his speech, “If we are not in a state of alertness, if we do not have the idea of Jihad within us, if we do not carry the interest in Muslim affairs, it is a very dangerous situation.” Explaining that “a person may die on other than Islam as a result of his negligence in fearing Allah Almighty towards the danger of enemies on his religion and his nation.”
In his speech, the leader repeated his call for the Yemeni people to support all paths of support for the Palestinian people, adding, “For Allah and for the sake of Allah and from the core of our religion and faith, O Yemen of faith, the interest in developments and events should remain among our major priorities.” He clarified that “the issue is not just demonstrations, as the demonstrations are linked with the missile position with the fighting with the drones.”
He pointed out that “the American, when the missile and the drone come to his ships, he sees that behind them is the human flood interacting.” Indicating that “going out in the marches is great, important, honorable, and necessary, and the enemy counts that behind those operations is this interaction.”
Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi confirmed that “the popular interaction closes the enemy’s work on obstructing the direct military combat action by manipulating the internal situation and diverting attention to minor matters.”
The revolution leader noted that “what is happening in Gaza is part of targeting the entire nation, and we are a targeted nation.” He warned of stagnation in the face of enemy movements.
