Yemeni Armed Forces Announce Major Escalation Targeting Israeli and American Ships
Military spokesman announce the targeting of "Pacific 01" Israeli ship in the Red Sea
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Friday a major escalation by targeting an Israeli ship and an American destroyer, initiating three naval operations targeting three ships in the Indian Ocean.
In a statement received by the Ansar Allah website, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that within the framework of standing up for the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression on our country, the naval forces in the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah, targeted the Israeli ship (Pacific 01) in the Red Sea with a number of appropriate naval missiles.
The statement added that the drone air force carried out an operation targeting an American destroyer in the Red Sea with a number of drones, and the operation achieved its goals successfully by the grace of Allah.
The Armed Forces clarified that in implementation of the directives of the leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, “may Allah preserve him”, in standing up for the oppressed Palestinian people who are subjected to aggression and siege in the Gaza Strip, and in response to the calls of the people of the Yemeni people and all the free people of the nation, the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah, began to expand the scope of their operations against Israeli ships or those associated with Israel or heading to the occupied Palestinian ports to include the Indian Ocean via Cape of Good Hope.
The Yemeni Armed Forces warned all Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports or coming from them not to pass through the Cape of Good Hope, otherwise, they will be a legitimate target for our armed forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces revealed the execution of three operations against three Israeli and American ships in the Indian Ocean with a number of appropriate naval missiles and drones, and the three operations achieved their goals successfully.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that they will not stop preventing Israeli navigation or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, as well as the Indian Ocean, except when the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted from our brothers in the Gaza Strip.
Reuters agency had quoted the British Maritime Authority confirming that it had received a report about an incident 76 nautical miles west of Hodeidah in Yemen, confirming that a commercial ship was hit by a missile and was damaged.
Later, Ambrey Maritime Security Company issued a statement confirming that a tanker was attacked by a missile about 88 nautical miles northwest of Hodeidah in Yemen, and that there were damages and no injuries were reported among the crew of the targeted ship.
On March 9, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of two qualitative military operations targeting a ship and a number of American warships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden with a number of naval missiles and 37 drones.
The Armed Forces clarified that the naval forces and the drone air force carried out two qualitative military operations, the first targeted the American ship “PROPEL FORTUNE” in the Gulf of Aden with a number of appropriate naval missiles, while the second operation targeted a number of American warships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, with 37 drones.
