From yesterday evening until Wednesday morning, the Israeli enemy forces launched a massive arrest campaign targeting at least 30 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank, including a woman and a child, in addition to former prisoners.
The arrest operations were concentrated in Hebron governorate, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Jericho, Tulkarm, Nablus, Ramallah, and Jerusalem according to a joint statement issued by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.
During the arrest campaigns, the Zionist enemy forces continue to carry out widespread raids and torture, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to field investigation operations, sabotage and destruction of Palestinian homes, and confiscation of money and vehicles.
Thus, the total number of arrests since the start of “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle on October 7, 2023, rises to about 7,700, and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held as hostage.
The Zionist enemy forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those whom the Zionist enemy kept in detention, and those who were later released.
