Yemeni Forces Thwart World’s Most Advanced Navies, US Admits: Bloomberg

The American news agency, Bloomberg, reported last Wednesday that the Yemeni armed forces have successfully thwarted the world’s most advanced navies in the Red Sea. The report cited new confessions from American and Western officials confirming the impossibility of stopping Yemeni operations supporting the Palestinian people.

Despite the expensive equipment used by the United States and its allies to target Yemen, they have not been able to stop the naval attacks. The report considered that Yemen has succeeded in thwarting the world’s most advanced navies, and that what is happening in the Red Sea is a setback for Washington’s efforts to limit the spread of regional conflict.

The report quoted the commander of the American fleet in the Red Sea, Marc Miguez, as saying, “After more than three months since the start of a major naval military operation, there is still more work for the United States and its allies to do.” He admitted that he could not predict when the mission would be accomplished.

Miguez confessed that information about the number of missiles in the Yemeni arsenal represents a “black hole for American intelligence,” indicating complete ignorance of Yemen’s capabilities.

The report quoted a Western official as saying that “the Yemeni armed forces can continue their naval operations at the current pace for months.” It also quoted an American military official as saying, “The United States is on the wrong side of the cost curve in its campaign.” He added that the United States “is able to bear the costs, but they have become exorbitant.”

The report mentioned that American forces and coalition forces “resorted to using fighters like F-18 aircraft to hit drones with air-to-air missiles, keep them away from ships, and maintain expensive defensive weapons.”

Many reports have revealed that the American navy is incurring huge losses in the costs of its operations in the Red Sea. They resort to using missiles, each costing more than two million dollars, and four million dollars, to confront much cheaper drones and missiles. This is in addition to the operational cost of destroyers and aircraft carriers that have not docked at any port for months.
