George Galloway and Alexander Dugin: Yemen, the Moral Center of the Arab World and Protector of Islamic Society’s Dignity
In a recent video conference organized by the interim government in Sana’a titled “Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation,” British parliamentarian George Galloway and renowned Russian thinker Alexander Dugin, affirmed that Yemen represents the moral center of the Arab world today.
Galloway, known for his opposition to the Zionist entity and Western colonial policies, stated, “Yemen has become the moral center of the Arab world.” He added that “Yemen is the only country and the only Islamic state that has actually taken up arms to defend the defenseless Palestinians – children, women, and men, tens of thousands of whom have sacrificed their lives and blood and have been suffering for six full months.”
Despite being one of the poorest countries in the region and the world, and a victim of a long war by its neighbors and their imperialist allies who financed and armed the aggression against the Yemeni people for a long time, Yemen has taken this stance. Galloway still remembers “the brutal scenes of the treatment of the Yemeni people by the British occupation, and Britain’s attempts to subdue the struggling Yemeni people who were struggling for their freedom and independence.”
He expressed shame at this then, now, and will feel shame about it all his life. He affirmed that “Palestine will be free just as Yemen has become free,” pointing out that the Zionist enemy today faces “the hammer of Palestinian resistance and popular global solidarity, the boycott movement, marches, protests, and also punishing the parties supporting genocide in the ballot boxes as happened on February 29 in Rochdale,” referring to the elections he recently won for his supportive stance on the Palestinian issue.
On his part, the famous Russian thinker, Alexander Dugin, close to Russian President Putin, said during a speech delivered via video: “The challenge in Gaza is posed to the entire Islamic community, all Muslims, and all the honorable people in the world, but among all Islamic countries, only Yemen has accepted this challenge, and this is a heroic example of how respectable people should act against injustice and genocide.”
He added, “You, the Yemenis, have saved the dignity of the Islamic community, and you have changed the geopolitical system, through military operations in the Red Sea.”
He continued, “We have a different geopolitical situation; because of your brave resistance and your heroic actions.”
He added, “Stay strong, dear ones, I admire your government and your courage, and I believe that you are saving what remains of the pride and dignity of all Muslims and the world, and I believe that you are now pioneers and leaders of the resistance forces in the Middle East.”
Dugin pointed out that “the rule of the Western world has ended, and the Yemenis are among the first to show courage and prove how weak our enemy is.”
He considered the position of Yemen and the resistance forces “a kind of real introduction to the liberation of Palestine.”
He linked the battle of Russia against the United States and the West, with the battle in Palestine and the Yemeni position, and said that “Russia and Yemen are two forces fighting the global beast, and we call on everyone to join this battle.”
The famous Russian philosopher pointed out that what is happening today is “a transition from a period of unipolar dominance to a multipolar world,” pointing out that “Zionism is part of American unipolar dominance.”
He said, “It is a war of multipolarity against unipolarity that does not want to allow us to follow our own path.”
The participation of Galloway and Dugin in the conference supporting the Palestinian cause and their testimony about the active and influential Yemeni role is a crowning of great public interest focused on Yemen since the start of its participation in the battle (Al-Aqsa Flood), where the Yemeni position – despite the geographical distance from occupied Palestine – expressed the aspirations, feelings, and demands of the angry masses at the global level, which saw in what the Yemeni people are doing a model for the correct and unique human position that is rare in the face of global silence and complacency; This was also reflected in the raising of slogans and banners praising Yemen and its leadership in many countries of the world.
