Yemeni Armed Forces Execute Several Operations Against Hostile Warships
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today the execution of several military operations against hostile warships in the Red Sea, including the targeting of two American destroyers with a number of drones.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the military operations against the hostile ships in the Red Sea successfully achieved their objectives. Brigadier Saree explained that the naval, missile, and drone forces carried out a joint operation against the ship ‘CYCLADES’ in the Red Sea, and the strike was precise. He clarified that the targeting of the ‘CYCLADES’ came after it headed to the port of Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) on April 21, under the guise of deception and camouflage, falsely claiming to be heading to another port.
The Armed Forces’ statement pointed out that the ‘CYCLADES’ was under surveillance and was warned not to enter the ports of occupied Palestine. The ‘CYCLADES’ insisted on violating the prohibition decision, thus becoming part of the targeted and banned ships from sailing in our forces’ operations area.
The statement confirmed the naval forces’ targeting of the Israeli ship ‘MSC ORION’ in the Indian Ocean with a number of drones. The statement added, “With the support of our great people and the free people of the nation, we will continue to carry out our military operations in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in defense of dear Yemen.”
The statement said that the targeting operations will not stop unless the siege is lifted and the aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is stopped.
