Sayyid Al-Houthi Urges Global Powers to Halt Shipments to Occupied Palestinian Ports
In a speech delivered on Thursday, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, outlined the latest developments in Palestine resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. Sayyid Al-Houthi detailed the execution of 40 operations against Israeli forces involving 211 missiles, alongside seven additional operations this week deploying 13 ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones, in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean.
Sayyid Al-Houthi affirmed the commencement of operations directed towards the Mediterranean Sea with two military operations, highlighting over 100 attacks on American vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden using missiles and drones. He emphasized the strategic shift of American, Israeli, and British navigation routes eastward in the Indian Ocean, which inadvertently contributes to the enhancement of Yemen’s missile and drone capabilities.
The Houthi leader advised China, Russia, and European nations, stressing the significance of the fourth phase of escalation that targets all companies transporting goods to Israeli enemies, regardless of the port. He commended the positive stance of certain countries and companies that have ceased transportation in support of the Israeli enemy, recognizing Yemen’s humanitarian and legitimate position linked to the events in Gaza.
Sayyid Al-Houthi called upon the international community to cease transportation to the occupied Palestinian ports, framing Yemen’s actions as driven by humanitarian, ethical, and religious motives. He urged global pressure on Israel to halt the genocidal crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.
The leader reiterated the commitment to intensify the fourth phase of escalation, asserting that enemy attempts to protect themselves with multiple defensive lines in the Mediterranean will fail, as previous interception capabilities have. He underscored the necessity of escalating support on all fronts due to the continued Israeli aggression and incursion in Rafah.
Sayyid Al-Houthi highlighted the active public and military mobilization in Yemen, with over 300,000 trainees engaged and military maneuvers reaching 735 exercises. He praised the unwavering weekly million-strong demonstrations supporting Palestine, which showcase the Yemeni people’s awareness and responsibility, contrasting the media’s adversarial portrayal of Yemen’s front.
In conclusion, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi called upon the Yemeni people to participate in a grand demonstration in the capital, Sana’a, and other provinces, on Friday, to continue expressing their solidarity with Palestine.
