Yemen’s Army Targets Multiple Ships in Red and Mediterranean Seas in Support of Palestine
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday their successful targeting of two ships in the Red Sea and another ship in the Mediterranean Sea, in cooperation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
The armed forces detailed the execution of three military operations. The first operation was carried out by the naval forces, missile units, and drone units, utilizing several boats, drones, and ballistic missiles to target the ship “BENTLEY I” in the Red Sea.
In the second operation, the Yemeni forces targeted the oil tanker “CHIOS Lion” in the Red Sea using a guided drone, achieving a precise and direct hit. The armed forces clarified that the targeting of these two ships was due to the owning companies’ violation of the ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine.
The third operation, conducted in partnership with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, targeted the ship “Olvia” in the Mediterranean Sea. The armed forces confirmed that the operation was successfully executed.
These military actions are a response to the siege and crimes of the Israeli aggressors against the Palestinian people and a retaliation for the massacre in Khan Yunis by Israeli forces. The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated that the ongoing Israeli aggression and massacres against their brothers in Gaza would only strengthen the Yemeni people, their armed forces, and their leadership. They vowed continued joint operations with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq in support of the oppressed Palestinian people. These operations, they added, will persist until the US-Israeli aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
