More than 100 martyrs and dozens injured in enemy bombing of a school housing displaced persons in Gaza

The Israeli enemy forces committed a horrific massacre at dawn today, Saturday, by bombing a prayer hall inside Al-Tabi’in School, which houses displaced persons, in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip during the dawn prayer.

The government media office reported that more than 100 were killed and dozens were injured after being targeted by the occupation while performing the dawn prayer, indicating that medical crews, civil defense, relief and emergency teams continue to take out the bodies of the martyrs.

The Director of Ambulance and Emergency in Gaza said that the occupation’s deliberate targeting of the displaced during their dawn prayers greatly increased the number of martyrs and increased the scale of the disaster.

For its part, the Civil Defense explained that the occupation forces targeted the displaced persons with 3 missiles while they were performing the dawn prayer.

Civil Defense indicated that the bodies of the displaced people caught fire after the Israeli bombing that targeted them.

It pointed out that the Civil Defense estimates that the massacre of the school in Gaza is the third in terms of the size of the disaster after Baptist and Mawasi Khan Yunis massacres.

Eyewitnesses reported that most of the martyrs and wounded in the school massacre were elderly and children.

The government media condemned in the strongest terms the occupation’s perpetration of this horrific massacre, calling on the world to condemn it and holding the entity and the American administration fully responsible for it.

The government media called on the international community and international and UN organizations to pressure the occupation to stop the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing against civilians and displaced people in the Gaza Strip, and to stop the flow of blood in Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation has been waging a devastating war against the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, and caused massive destruction to the infrastructure.
