Guterres: Nothing Justifies Collective Punishment of Civilians in Gaza

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stressed in an interview with Agence France-Presse that “nothing justifies the collective punishment” inflicted by the Zionist enemy on the people of Gaza who are suffering in an “unimaginable” manner.

Guterres directed sharp criticism at the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in the devastated Palestinian sector, which will enter their second year next month.

Guterres, who has held the position of Secretary-General of the United Nations since 2017, said, “It is unimaginable that the level of suffering in Gaza, the level of death and destruction is unparalleled in everything I have witnessed since I became Secretary-General of the United Nations.”
