Hezbollah forces Iraq mourned the martyr Abu Haidar al-Khafaji, who was martyred as a result of a Zionist attack today, Friday, targeting a car on the road to Damascus International Airport.
Kata’ib Hezbollah said in a statement that the martyr was martyred while performing his security duties as one of the security advisors in Syria.
It added that Abu Haidar participated in confronting Takfiri gangs during the war that swept Syria, and in protecting the holy sites in both Syria and Iraq, and defeating ISIS in both countries.
It also confirmed its intention to continue supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
For years, the Israeli enemy has been launching hundreds of airstrikes in Syria, targeting targets across Syrian territory.
The bombing has repeatedly targeted Damascus and Aleppo airports, causing damage and sometimes putting them out of service.
The latest Israeli attacks in Syria were raids on September 8 targeting civilian centers in the communications and water sectors, in addition to a military center in the city of Masyaf in Hama countryside, which led to the martyrdom of 18 people, including civilians, and the injury of 37 others.
