Lebanese Resistance: No Retreat from Supporting Gaza, No Matter the Sacrifices
Hezbollah, through its unprecedented and intense operations against Israel, has sent a clear and resolute message: there will be no retreat from supporting Gaza, no matter the cost, consequences, or challenges. Since the start of its operations on October 7, Hezbollah has maintained unwavering support for Gaza, making it clear that this commitment remains firm despite the potential repercussions.
Hezbollah’s equation is simple: the solidarity and support front it has opened against the zionist enemy will not close until an agreement to end the war on Gaza is reached. The group’s targeted missile strikes have disrupted Israel’s plans to isolate Gaza and break the link between Palestinian resistance and Hezbollah.
This commitment was reinforced by Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, who declared that the party has entered a new phase: “the Battle of Open Accounts.” He emphasized that Israel’s attacks on Lebanon aimed to cripple the resistance and turn its supporters against it in an attempt to weaken the front supporting Gaza. Sheikh Qassem made it clear that the Lebanese front will remain active until the war on Gaza concludes, and that no Israeli threats will deter Hezbollah from its mission.
Political analysts agree that Hezbollah’s precision strikes have sent an unequivocal message to Israel’s leadership: there is no separation between the events in Gaza and those in Lebanon. The Lebanese resistance will not halt its support for Gaza until Israel’s aggression ends. Analysts also argue that Hezbollah’s sustained and wide-ranging attacks on Israeli military and strategic sites are a testament to its unbreakable commitment to both Palestine and Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices.
Muawiya Musa, a political analyst, indicated that Hezbollah’s actions over the past few days demonstrate its readiness for continued confrontation and show that halting the support front is directly tied to ending the aggression on Gaza. Musa also highlighted that Hezbollah’s strategy of linking the north and south is effectively a form of participation in the war. This connection, according to Musa, has deeply frustrated both Israel and the United States, with Washington even giving Israel the green light to intensify its attacks on Lebanon.
The tension on the northern front is escalating dangerously, as the Israeli entity seeks to separate the two battlefields while Hezbollah insists on maintaining the link, pushing towards a ceasefire in Gaza. Musa noted that Israel’s current escalation is intended to send a message to Lebanon and Hezbollah: they must choose between a full-scale war or halting their support for Gaza.
Lebanese analyst Hamza Bechtaoui reaffirmed that Hezbollah’s support will persist regardless of Israel’s atrocities in Lebanon. Israel’s failure to eliminate Gaza’s resistance and secure the release of its captives without a prisoner exchange deal, he argued, highlights its inability to break Hezbollah’s will through its continuous support of Gaza. Bechtaoui told “Palestine Online” that the support provided by resistance forces has scattered the Israeli military’s focus, pushing it into a severe crisis—one that “Israeli Prime Minister” Benjamin Netanyahu is attempting to escape by seeking U.S. and Western intervention.
Despite Israel’s aggression, Hezbollah has remained resolute in refusing to cease its support for Gaza. “The New York Times” reported that Israel’s attacks on Lebanon reflect its failure to subdue Hezbollah, despite inflicting significant losses in a series of specialized military operations.
The report noted that “Israeli officials had hoped that intensifying their attacks over the past week would destabilize Hezbollah and force it to retreat from the Israeli-Lebanese border.” However, the plan backfired. “The New York Times” emphasized that rather than weakening Hezbollah, Israel’s actions have brought the two sides closer to all-out war.
Since Tuesday morning, the Islamic Resistance has confirmed attacks on 16 Israeli military targets in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, southern Lebanon, and northern occupied Palestine. The Islamic Resistance’s military statements declare the operations were carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people, in response to Israeli aggression, and solidarity with the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and their heroic and honorable resistance.”
Later in the day, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets targeting the main warehouses of Israel’s northern command at the Nimra base. Additionally, attacking the “Eliakim” military camp, part of Israel’s northern command south of occupied Haifa, with a salvo of “Fadi 2” missiles.
In another statement, the resistance confirmed that it had bombed the logistics warehouses of Israel’s 146th Division at Naftali base with rockets. The group also targeted Zionist settlements, including “Katzrin,” “Hagoshrim,” and “Gesher HaZiv,” with missile salvos.
The Islamic Resistance further struck the Qiryat Shemona settlement with multiple rocket salvos and targeted the Megiddo military airport west of Afula for the third time that day, using Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles.
In another honoring move, attacked an explosives factory in the “Zikhron” area, located 60 kilometers from the border, with Fadi 2 missiles. The Amos base, a key logistics hub for Israel’s northern region, was also hit with Fadi 1 missiles.
The Islamic Resistance also reported rocket strikes on the “Ramat David” airbase using Fadi 2 missiles. It also bombarded the “Samson base”, a regional command center, with Fadi 3 missiles, and launched rocket salvos at the “Rosh Pina” settlement.
In its 16th military communiqué since the morning, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the “Dado” base, the command headquarters of Israel’s northern region, with 50 rockets, with the help and support of Allah.
This demonstrates Hezbollah’s unwavering faith in Allah, their steadfast commitment to jihad in defense of their land and people, and their remarkable stance in supporting the oppressed people of Gaza against the genocidal acts of Zionist aggression.
