The Islamic Republic Avenges Nasrallah and Haniyeh: Unprecedented Iranian Attack on Israel
On the evening of Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered a powerful blow to the Zionist entity in what Hebrew media described as a “new Al-Aqsa flood.” The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched hundreds of missiles that rained down into the depths of the Zionist entity, with a particular focus on the occupied city of Yaffa (Tel Aviv). The televised images exposed the vulnerability and weakness of the Zionist air defenses as massive explosions rocked several areas in occupied Palestine, with flames erupting in multiple locations.
This calculated strike by the IRGC forced all Zionist settlers into shelters. While the attack was not aimed at civilians, it instead targeted military bases and airports, leaving a trail of devastation. It was a night of horror that the enemy had never experienced throughout its illegitimate occupation of Palestinian land.
As a result of the assault, flights were grounded, trains halted, and the streets of occupied Yaffa emptied. Iran emerged as a military power to be reckoned with, showing that it had exercised significant restraint until now, and signaling that the time had come to discipline this temporary entity.
This unprecedented missile strike by the Islamic Republic stood in stark contrast to the earlier “True Promise” operation, which was merely a warning. The October 1st offensive, however, will be etched in history as a night of unparalleled fear for the Zionist occupiers. The IRGC confirmed that this operation was retaliation for the blood of the martyr leaders recently assassinated by Zionist forces: Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’s political bureau; martyr leader Hassan Nasrallah; and his comrade, martyr General Abbas Nilforoushan.
At the time of writing, the precise nature of the weapons used to discipline the Zionist entity remains unclear. However, speculation suggests they could have been hypersonic missiles or something of a similar caliber, given the rapid travel time between Iran and occupied Palestine—mere minutes. Iranian media reported that 80% of the missiles hit their intended targets, a stark indication of the ineffectiveness of Israel’s air defenses.
A Critical Turning Point:
This unprecedented attack signals that the region has entered a pivotal phase, one that could escalate into full-scale war, depending on how the Zionist regime chooses to respond. Should Israel retaliate, the IRGC has made it clear that any counteraction will be met with overwhelming force.
This historic event was anticipated by Washington, which had warned Israel of an imminent Iranian attack as Tehran was reportedly preparing for action. Consequently, all Zionist settlements, particularly Tel Aviv, were placed on high alert. Moments before the missile barrage, two heroic gunmen opened fire on settlers in Yaffa, killing eight and wounding dozens—some critically. This suggests a high level of coordination between the resistance forces, aiming to strike and destabilize the Zionist occupiers.
In response to these developments, the White House announced that President Biden and Vice President Harris were monitoring the Iranian attack from the operations room. President Biden directed the U.S. military to assist Israel in confronting the Iranian strikes, once again positioning the U.S. as the savior of the Israeli occupation, following the severe blow it suffered on October 7. However, the next steps will depend on how the U.S. and Israel respond to this rapidly evolving situation.
Yemen’s Endorsement of the Operation:
In one of the first local reactions, the President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, expressed his support for Iran’s retaliatory strike on the Zionist regime, which involved dozens of ballistic missiles.
President al-Mashat described the operation as “a legitimate act of self-defense and a necessary measure to discipline the criminal entity.” He affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic in its response to the Israeli enemy, stating that “Iran has every right to defend itself” and warning the U.S. against “playing with fire.”
He added that “the crimes of the Israeli enemy must not go unanswered,” reiterating the readiness of Yemen’s armed forces to deter any American action. “We will not allow the U.S. and Israel to target any member of our nation without consequence,” he stated.
President al-Mashat also criticized international organizations for their silence, noting that “no international body has the right to speak now, after having remained quiet while the Zionist regime committed its crimes.”
Similarly, Mohammed Abdul Salam, spokesperson for Ansar Allah, emphasized that “the only way to stop the Zionist regime is through confrontation and resistance, preventing it from continuing its brutal crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, as well as the region.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Abdul Salam praised Iran’s missile strike on military targets within occupied Palestine and commended the Islamic Republic for its steadfast support of Palestine and its defiance of U.S. hegemony in the region.
